Spend the afternoon in Sommerhofenpark or at Klostersee and enjoy nature. The Sommerhofenpark, a former state garden show site, offers a varied mix of ornamental and landscaped lawns, herbaceous beds, a rose garden and a variety of playgrounds. A steam train ride and the Kneipp pool provide additional entertainment. Just a few minutes’ walk away is the 2.5-hectare Klostersee lake with natural stone paths, a fountain, water mushrooms and an iris garden.
